1. One account, deliberate publication relationships
A One North account identifies one person. Northern Secrets and The Northern Ontario Advantage are separate publication relationships. You choose which publication to join, and you may leave either one without deleting the other relationship.
2. Account eligibility and security
Provide accurate information, use your own verified sign-in credential, and protect access to that credential. Tell us through the publication contact channel if you believe your account has been misused.
3. Community use
Do not harass people, impersonate others, automate abusive activity, evade moderation, or upload unlawful or harmful material. We may limit, hide, or remove content and suspend accounts to protect people and the service while preserving an appropriate moderation record.
4. Your submissions
You retain ownership of material you submit. You give One North the limited permission needed to store, display, moderate, and deliver it as part of the feature you chose. You remain responsible for having the rights needed to submit that material.
5. Offers, listings, and third parties
Partners are responsible for their offer terms, inventory, and fulfilment. Editorial stories and economic information are general information, not professional, legal, or investment advice.
6. Service changes and ending an account
Features may change or be interrupted. You may withdraw a publication relationship independently or request deletion of the shared account, subject to records we must retain for security, consent, transactions, or legal obligations.
7. Governing rules
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada. Material changes require a new version and a renewed acceptance where appropriate.
