One North privacy notice

Effective July 27, 2026

What we collect

We collect the verified account details returned by your chosen provider, the publication relationships and communication choices you make, saved items, profile details, comments, offer activity, messages, inquiries, and security records needed to operate the service.

Why we use it

We use information to authenticate you, keep your saved state available, deliver the features you request, route inquiries, prevent abuse, moderate community activity, satisfy consent records, and improve reliability. Optional communications are sent only for the publication and purpose you separately select.

Two domains, one identity service

The publications use separate first-party sessions. A short-lived, single-use handoff can establish your session when you deliberately move between them. The handoff is posted to the destination and is not placed in browser history or a URL.

Sharing

We share information with service providers only as needed to operate One North, and with a relevant partner when you deliberately submit an inquiry or redeem an offer. We do not treat Google sign-in as permission to send marketing.

Retention and safeguards

We retain information only as long as needed for the feature, security, consent evidence, transactions, moderation, and legal requirements. Access is limited by role, sessions are audience-bound, and sensitive handoffs are short-lived and single-use.

Your choices

You may update your profile, withdraw optional communications, leave either publication independently, or request access, correction, or deletion through the contact channel on either publication. Some records may remain where retention is required.
